Verizon and Nvidia have teamed up to create AI services for businesses running workloads over Verizon\u2019s private 5G network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The new offering includes a private 5G network with enterprise-grade AI, allowing for the deployment of various AI applications and workloads over Verizon\u2019s private 5G network with Mobile Edge Compute (MEC) technology. MEC is infrastructure located as part of Verizon\u2019s public wireless network, bringing computing and data storage closer to devices and endpoints, ensuring ultra-low latency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nvidia will introduce its AI Enterprise software platform and NIM microservices to provide real-time AI services locally for enterprise customers. Nvidia promises to streamline this process. Verizon engineers will begin demonstrations of this solution in early 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The platform will support multi-user functionality, catering to a wide range of use cases for customers. It can be deployed both on the customer\u2019s premises through a dedicated private local network and via connection to a portable private network. Additionally, the platform can scale on demand to meet the specific needs of clients.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The software stack is being developed for intensive computational programs, including large language AI generative models, language and vision models, streaming video, broadcast management, computer vision, augmented\/virtual\/extended reality (AR\/VR\/XR), autonomous mobile robots, and automated guided vehicles (AMR\/AGV), as well as IoT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4722,"template":"","class_list":["post-4637","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
